Sharkano

This idea was actually incepted by my younger sister, Jenn Hahn.
"It turns out that the sharks blood is made of lava... and if you try to kill them, the sharks just spew out lava".

The movie starts out with a small town on an island in the pacific. The island houses a massive volcano, but has been dormant for thousands of years. The town is the only major human influence on the island, while everything else has been self sustaining. In this small town there are a bunch of common people: the high school teacher, the high school student, the town merchant, the business man, and the Canadian.

Jeffry teaches geography and science in the town high school; hence living on the island to be close to a natural volcano. He takes hikes up the mountain frequently, and knows just about every path on the mountain.

The high school student, stereotypical, blond, annoying, and one of the most well known residents on the island. She is the daughter of the island owner (known well throughout the island as well), however the 'Fame' often goes to her head.

Richard is the town shop owner, the only major shopping area in a 200 mile radius. He sells everything from food to furniture, weapons to machinery.

Frank, the business man, has recently come to the island to see if he wants to invest. Little does he know, he gets caught in the middle of it all.

Dr. Smurstianbacher is a Canadian scientist and researcher who lives high up in the mountain top. He has a secret lab that no one on the island knows about.

As the characters are introduced in the movie, it becomes very obvious that the volcano is no longer dormant. Quakes that used to be very small are now largely effecting the island as the volcano becomes more violent.

During the beginning chaos, the volcano top explodes, spewing magma balls all over the island. However, the magma balls are actually egg embryos for a new creature, Lava Sharks. These magma balls crash land, splatting with a fiery explosion and destroying anything it lands on. This is bad news for the town, as their only three boats to escape the island are destroyed from a couple magma balls.

The ground cracks open as lava flows start to pour out, sinking the island in a lava-like flood. Lava Sharks, now swimming in the lava rivers melt the ground around them, creating their own mini rivers to swim off in. Lava Sharks are Dr. Smurstianbacher's latest creation, creating a hybrid creature that can adjust their body temperature as well as survive and thrive off of extremely hot temperatures and live in dirt and rock.

The town survivors must ban together to protect themselves and find higher ground as the lava flood rises, bringing the Lava Sharks closer to them. However, the only safe place is at the top of the volcano (that is no longer erupting), a house occupied by a crazy old man... Dr. Smurstianbacher.



I am unable to create an image depicting of how great this movie would be, so here is a couple of images from the movies Sharknado, 2012, and Volcano that show what the movie could be like.

Apparently, a former Asylum writer helped created a novel called Sharcano...

Still, I think that Sharkano could be a movie, similar to the novel, but different. Why not create a movie parody based on a book parody based on one of the greatest films ever created?!

Shark-Mantis

So here is another movie idea that I came up with.

The government is working on a secret project; a super biological weapon non-the-less. This genetically engineered biological weapon can monitor the world's ocean, and be able to attack if needed.

Shark-Mantis : half praying mantis, half bull shark.

The creature has a computer chip implanted in it's head, allowing the government to able to control the creature's behavior. However, a group of modern pirates hire hackers to hack into the government's computer chip on the creature. These pirates then attack the San Francisco Bay, having Mantis-Shark lead the way.

Previously on his father's yacht, Doug Finnen was actually doing some hacking of his own. Doug is part of a small underground hacking organization that hack into networks in the nearby area to get whatever they want, whether it be changing someone's bank account, taking over the radio frequencies, or destroying a corrupt company. However, while hacking into a frequency with some friends out in the San Francisco Bay, he picks up a weird transmission.

Once Doug finally sees a giant mutant on rampage, followed by some shady pirate individuals, Doug puts two and two together. While the government military is sending everything they've got to fight their new enemy, it is now up to Doug to save the world.
